Top up a card
Process · four steps

How a Nol top-up flows

A top-up on this site has four discrete steps. Two happen on this site, one happens on the secure payment domain, and the last one happens at any reader on the metro, tram or bus network.

01

Serial

The 16-digit serial is printed on the back of every Nol card, just above the magnetic stripe. We accept it with or without the spaces — the form auto-formats as you type. We never ask for a PIN, password or one-time code; if anything else is requested at any point, leave the page.

02

Amount

Choose AED 25, 50, 100 or 200 from the preset row, or enter a custom amount within the range that the issuer permits. The minimum recognised top-up is AED 5; the practical maximum on a single load is AED 1,000.

03

Secure payment

You are routed to the secure payment domain. The page is a standard card checkout: 16-digit Visa or Mastercard number, expiry month and year, three-digit verification code on the back. We do not see your card number on this site.

04

Tap on

Once the load has been routed to your card, the new balance becomes available the next time you tap on at any reader — at a metro gate, on a tram platform or on board a bus. There is nothing else to confirm.

What we do not collect on this site

Your name, your phone, your email, your photo, the card's PIN, your Emirates ID, or any one-time code. The form has two fields: the public 16-digit Nol serial and the amount in AED. Anything else is a red flag.

What we cannot do

We cannot issue a new Nol card, replace a lost one, change a personalised photo, dispute a tap, or refund a journey already taken. Those matters belong with the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai (rta) and we will direct you to the correct channel if you ask.

Ready when you are.

Two fields. A familiar payment page. A written confirmation when the load lands.
